Kevin Keim has embraced a career of global drug development and business opportunities while supporting customer, employee, and strategic process in product development and operational improvement. Kevin brings 53+ years of international research and discovery, clinical research, drug development, and regulatory experience with more than 550 clinical trial experiences to his credit.

Most recently Kevin served as the chief development officer with Paidion Research (now part of Premier Research) focused on strategic process and planned growth. He previously served as a five-year board director of INC Research, LLC followed by an 11-year employment as president, CEO, and board director from 2000-2006 at Vela Pharmaceuticals Inc., (later consolidated by sale with Pharmos, Inc). Prior to Vela Pharmaceuticals Inc., Kevin was past president of Quintiles Pacific, Inc., where he provided executive leadership and directive consultative development solutions to the global CNS therapeutics effort. His prior 23 formative years in the pharmaceutical industry were spent at Hoffmann-LaRoche and (Ayerst-)Wyeth Research. Collective with his experience at Vela Pharmaceuticals, Kevin has credible preclinical and clinical development experience in psychiatry, neurology, epilepsy, sleep medicine, pain management, movement disorders, cardiovascular, women’s health, vaccines, and GI, as well as strategic regulatory consultation.

He is a past board director of the American Society of Experimental NeuroTherapeutics (ASENT), NeuroMedix, Inc., the Pennsylvania BioTech Center of Bucks County, Clinilabs, Inc., Affiliated Research Corporation (San Diego), Princeton BioMedical Corp., and founded K.L. Keim Consultancy Group, LLC.
Kevin received his doctorate from New York University and his Master of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University. His undergraduate work was done at Delaware Valley University (Doylestown, PA) where he currently serves as a trustee of the board and chair of the Academic Affairs Committee. Kevin is a trustee of Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC, and serves on the Educational Stewardship Committee. Dr. Keim is a member of a variety of professional societies, including the American Epilepsy Society and ASPET, and has a distinguished record of peer-review publications.
